METWorks presents a ZOOM webinar on bidding and awarding contracts to small construction companies. Attendees will hear from successful Prime Contractors and how they operate with Metropolitan Water District's Small Business Enterprise (SBE) program. SBE Prime Contractors will share their success stories about working within Metropolitan's SBE program.
Metropolitan staff will provide a forecast of the next six months' Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and answer questions related to the forecast. Staff will also be available to meet and listen to interested contractors' concerns and related questions.
Lastly, this METWorks event will provide our prospective contractors with an understanding of our high standards for construction requirements, strict compliance with procedures and deadlines, specifications, and submittal requirements, as well as a list of upcoming construction projects and schedules.
